Ingredients
- 1 cup of almonds
- 1 cup of dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup of rolled oats
- 1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup of almond butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon of ground flax seeds (optional, for added nutrition)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Place the almonds in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
- Mix the Ingredients: Add the dried cranberries, rolled oats, honey (or maple syrup), almond butter, vanilla extract, and salt to the processor. If using, add the flax seeds as well.
- Blend Together: Process the ingredients until they are well combined and form a sticky dough. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the food processor a few times.
- Form the Balls: Scoop out about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball using your hands. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
- Chill: Place the energy balls on a tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them set.
