Strawberry Coconut Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon of shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1 tablespoon of ground flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1/2 cup of ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash the strawberries and remove their stems. If using frozen strawberries, there’s no need to thaw them.
  2. Combine: Add the strawberries, coconut milk, Greek yogurt, protein powder, shredded coconut, and flax seeds into a blender.
  3. Sweeten: Add honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  4. Add Ice: Add ice cubes to the blender for a refreshing chill.
  5. Blend Until Smooth: Blend all the ingredients on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
